I cannot say enough about Elicia with Altar Ego Weddings. She was much more than just my "day of wedding coordinator," also the keeper of sanity. Elicia was on top of everything from vendor timelines to wedding party timelines. My wedding was at a very DIY venue (The Filter Building) and there were so many vendors and moving pieces, having Elicia there helped me have peace of mind and if anything went awry, I certainly wasn't aware of it on the night of the wedding! We also rented our linens through Altar Ego because their prices were better than most rental companies in the area.

Hiring Altar Ego Weddings for day-of-coordination was definitely the best value for the money that I spent on the entire wedding.

Altar Ego Weddings was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day to go smoothly! I hired Jennifer for day of coordination which included rehearsal coordination. Her organization methods were very impressive when we met to go over order of the ceremony. My actual wedding day started off disasterous because it was supposed to be an outdoor ceremony, and it happened to storm on that day! Jennifer was so calm in helping me come up with a last minute backup plan and also with helping me come up with ways to move my outdoor decor inside and make it look like it was supposed to be there in the first place. We were supposed to leave in a gondola, but they wouldn't do it since it was raining, and she made some last minute moves and had a luxury suv pick us up instead. She was wonderful!!!! I can't say enough good things about her!

I booked Jennifer 4 months before my wedding to serve as my day of coordinator. She was very thorough with all the questions she had prepared, things I never thought of, and was maticulus when following through with what you asked her to do. I never had to worry if she would actually remember to do something, she was just that organized and on top of things. This is exactly what you want from someone who you are hiring as your day of coordinator to turn everything over to!! She is GREAT and worth every penny!!

Jennifer helped me plan my husband's 40th birthday roast. I live in Houston and was planning the roast in Dallas. Jennifer scoped out the location and caterer for me as well as suggesting a wonderfule DJ. Without Jennifer's direction and footwork, the party would not have been nearly as successful. I just wanted to give you a great BIG HUGE ENORMOUS THANK YOU for everything you've helped me with throughout these two years of planning!  You managed to pull off the wedding PERFECTLY!  I can't believe how stress free and how much fun I had on the wedding day and I have you to thank for that!  You were the best investment that we made with the wedding because you took the stress and worry away from me and I was able to absorb everything that happened and enjoy myself. 

My husband had doubts about having a wedding coordinator because he didn't understand how WE couldn't handle everything the day of the wedding, but after we left he was like wow!   I can't believe how much fun we have and that hiring Jennifer really was a good idea!  LOL  Everyone else now realizes what a good idea it is to hire a wedding coordinator so of course I'll be recommending you!

WOW!! It was so amazing last night. Everything was perfect and more than we could've ever dreamed. Thank you so much for all of your hard work. You did a wonderful job. And all the vendors...WOW!! the DJ was so good. I mean really, really good! Everyone keeps on commenting about him. And the photographers were amazing!! They were everywhere! Everyone kept on saying, "he took a pic when I was doing this" or "he got so and so doing that." I can not wait to see them!!! Flowers...WOW!! She went way beyond what I thought it was going to be. Food, everyone said the cocktail hour was sooooo good. It was just so good. I'm kinda sad it's over, but I'm so glad that you were with us the whole way. Like I said, you were the wedding "god."

Jennifer was absolutely more than we hoped for and we had an amazing time at the wedding. Jennifer was awesome. We had one long meeting a couple of weeks before the wedding going over each and every detail. Then she also came to the final reception site meeting so she was also on the same page. She made a very detailed timeline with contact information and sent it to all of the vendors and anyone else involved. Jennifer also came to the rehearsal and helped get everyone lined up correctly (although our church's coordinator was in charge of the rehearsal by contract, it was great to have Jennifer there to keep things organized). On the wedding day, all I can say is that I didn't have to worry about a thing. I had Jennifer go to the reception that afternoon to make sure everything was set up and all the vendors showed. All I can tell you is that my cell phone didn't ring once that day. Thank God - I really didn't want to deal with annoying questions, people needing directions, or having to wonder if the cupcakes had arrived, etc. We arrived at the reception and everything was perfect. It was beautiful, people were already going nuts in the photobooth, everyone had drinks in their hands and were going to town on the mashed potato martini station. It all just went down flawlessly and it is all due to Jennifer. A Day of Coordinator is one of the best investments you will make - I highly recommend you get one and you go with Jennifer!

I noticed right from the start when we had our first meeting that you had the perfect personality for this job.  I was actually surprised when you remembered certain things I said, only because I was quite jumbled and excited.  But you picked out the important things in my rambling, remembered them, and brought my vision to life!  I am so impressed at how you remembered names of my family and wedding party after just once.  

With grace and good skills you created open lines of communication and maintained them through to the very end of the wedding night.  My vendors, family and wedding party felt very comfortable should they need to come to you, and that in turn made me comfortable!  I knew from the start that you understood where I stood on the “vision”, and it made my life so much easier knowing that I could trust you and your decisions.  And more than once you were there to save the day in my mix ups, vendor’s crazy requests, the florist running late, chipped frames, unruly pew bows, and my very dirty dress. 

My mom said you were invaluable and without you she wouldn’t have been able to enjoy herself.  My sister said you were right there anytime she needed anything or had a question.  You organized my timeline from rehearsal to reception exit, and because of that…I could breathe.  You executed everything with poise and gathered everyone’s attention without a drop of insecurity.  I wouldn’t change any part of my wedding night.  It was the night I had always imagined and it couldn’t have been done without you.
